POLICIES: PRIVACY, ORDERS, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Privacy-

CARVER Custom respects your privacy.  None of your information is either shared or sold to outside merchants or marketing firms.

Order Delays-

CARVER Custom will not be responsible for delayed or late shipments from the carrier chosen for delivery.  Due to conditions beyond our control, some delays occur.  If compensation is due from the carrier, we'll do all we can to assist in getting that compensation to the buyer.

Order Processing-

 

All orders received require up to 48 hours for processing.  If an order is received on Monday, it will be processed on Tuesday, shipped on Wednesday.  Please allow ample time when planning your purchases.  We custom build most items and need time to assemble and package items upon request.

Once an order is placed it may not be cancelled. Changes can be made if you call us in time. Do not count on an email for changes as we process very quickly. We also must get your CVV code again to charge any additional charges because we cannot charge more than the initial authorization. To ad items it is best to place a new order for the added items and make a note in the comment box to combine the orders. Yes it will show shipping on the 2nd order but we will adjust shipping as applicable.

Returns-


All returns must be new, unused, uninstalled, in original packaging and within 30 days of purchase. 30 days is strictly adhered to.  Warranty issues, other than CARVER branded items, are handled by the manufacturer but we will be glad to help with your issue by providing information to both parties to achieve the most efficient resolution to the issue.   Warranty items that are CARVER branded items will be handled by CARVER Custom, Inc.  Any product returned that is damaged will not be refunded but will be traded out to the "used" value of the product.  Shipping fees paid will not be refunded on returned products.

All products returned for a refund will be charged a 5% fee to cover the credit card fee charged by the bank to CARVER Custom when the purchase was made by a credit card.  Cash purchases will not be subjected to a fee for a refund.

A copy of the invoice with a written explanation for reason of return or exchange is necessary so that when the package arrives, we can log the product and request in our database to expedite processing and/or refund.

Errors-


We strive not to make any errors but occasionally we do. We will make errors correct by reshipping the correct item with a return label for the incorrect item. We are not responsible nor will we be expected to compensate for errors that result in consequential inconveniences. The most common scenario, although rare,  is you need an item at the last minute and have an order shipped next day air for a match. If we make a mistake we will correct it by sending the correct time but will not be able to meet the time frame for that sort of scenario. For that reason we suggest ordering far enough in advance to be sure to have it for that need. Mistakes happen, sometimes with us , sometimes with the shipper. Never fails to be a must have situation where everything must go perfect to meet the time frame when something does go wrong. So please prepare in advance.

Shipping-

 

All Shipping methods are based upon Mon through Fri delivery days except USPS which delivers on Saturdays.  If Saturday deliveries are requested for UPS and FedEx, please comment or call.  The additional charges will be applied to your order.

Orders chosen by the Customer to ship UPS Next Day Air, UPS Next Day Air Saver or UPS 2nd Day Air will be processed the same day if the order arrives before noon.  All orders arriving after noon will be processed the next day to allow us time to package, assemble and process the order.

UPS does charge an address correction fee or redirect fee to fix errors in the address. If it's our fault we will eat it. If it's the customer fault we do pass those fees onto them. USPS just sends the item back or delivers to the wrong address. So please double check the completeness and accuracy of your address. Some items we sell are set to figure separate shipping charges. If we can we will combine and adjust  shipping. So you may see two shipping charges but we as a matter of practice do everything we can to save you shipping charges.

International Shipments-


We do not ship any parts outside the USA.  Any gun part or magazine cannot be shipped out of the USA. We are not a licensed exporter which is required to ship outside the USA. If you are buying in the USA and exporting without proper licensing it is illegal. You agree that if you export items bought from us that you will gain the proper licensing and permits before doing so. A word of warning- Do not have your friends buy and reship without these licenses and permits. Homeland Security has intercepted these types of packages in the past. We are required to cooperate with investigations and provide all information to officers. This puts the person who ships at risk of criminal charges, fines and the product being confiscated.
