M&P .45 Compensator and Magwell Combo

Compensator (3 or 4 Port)

CARVER Custom .45 ACP 3 or 4 port compensators for your M&P factory supplied threaded .45 barrel are an exclusive offering. These comps were designed to fit the countour of the Full Size .45 slide and to appear as an extension of the slide. The compensators are made out of tough 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum and have Type 2 anodizing in two colors: Black and Silver.

• Porting on the sides, allows more air to rush into the compensator, pushing more exhaust up, allowing more control of the muzzle

  The comps are threaded for .578 x 28 tpi barrels. They will fit an M&P threaded barrel that's intended for a suppressor.

When using the CARVER Custom compensator system, you will need to use a lighter recoil spring to compromise the slide speed since the compensators are so efficient they are reducing the amount of energy normally utilized by the slide to recycle.

We recommend the use of our SS CARVER Guiderod for use with ISMI springs.

If you are planning to shoot the following ammunition, you will need the recommended recoil spring with an uncaptured guiderod:

185 Grain .45 ACP Ammo

• With 3 Port Compensator - Use a 14 lb recoil spring
• With 4 Port Compensator - Use a 13-14 lb recoil spring

Open Aluminum Magwell

"Newly Designed" M&P Aluminum Magwell for Open Class Competition by CARVER Custom LLC..  This new M&P Open magwell was designed for IPSC or any "open" class of competition where a magazine extension is allowed. The new magwell was designed for the M&P Full Siz.45 model.  The Magwell is currently available for the 1.0 version of the M&P .45 model.  The 2.0 version will be available soon.

The aluminum magwell is CNC machined and anodized. It is very easy to install and requires no modification to your gun. Included with the magwell are installation instructions and all necessary hardware. Requires the use of any Magazine Extension (140MM or 170MM) or extended base pad such as the Springer Precision base pad.

This magwell is a funnel that's 1.6" wide and is 2.6" long, increasing the magwell area for fast and easy reloads on the run or while standing by 165% when compared to the stock magwell opening on the M&P.  Approximate weight is 1.4 oz.  (Please note, a Tactical Model will be available soon)

This magwell and its installation stud will work on M&P Models1.0 model only.

The new design allows your choice of backstraps to be used.

The "new" CARVER Open M&P Standard Magwell requires the use of a Magazine Extension such as the TF +3 Mag Extension or extended base pads such as the Springer Precision base pad. Stock base pads will "not" allow the magazine to lock into place.
